6 STEPS TO GETTING A SALE
1
CHOOSING AN ESTATE AGENT
It is not compulsory to use the services of an estate agent, but we can offer valuable expertise, guidance, and support throughout the property buying or selling process.
4
PREPARE THE DOCUMENTATION
In order to proceed with the sale of your property, you will need to provide a series of documents. i.e.
Title deed, identity document and most recent utilities bills, to name a few.
2
CHOOSING A SOLICITOR
We partner with FP Legal & Translation Services who offer a range of legal services to assist you in buying or selling a property in Spain. This includes obtaining any necessary visas required for residency.
5
SIGNING A DEPOSIT CONTRACT
This preliminary contract will be prepared by the buyer’s solicitor, and both parties will sign. A date is specified for the completion of the purchase.
3
CHOOSING A NOTARY
Once you’ve accepted an offer, you’ll need to agree on a notary with the buyer. There are around 3,000 notaries in Spain and they all charge the same standard rate.
6
SIGNING THE DEED OF SALE
To finalise the sale, a meeting will be held between the buyer, seller, their legal representatives and the notary. This is where the final balance is transferred to you, and the buyer gets the keys to the property.
